Dr. Lyleth Bustillo's story begins in the Philippines, where she earned her Master of Arts in Nursing from the University of San Agustin. With a deep passion for patient care, she spent over 20+ years as a bedside nurse, touching countless lives with her compassion and clinical expertise.
Her journey then took her across the Pacific to America, where she continued her nursing career and discovered a new calling: education. Driven by a desire to shape the next generation of nurses, she pursued her DNP at Gannon University in Pennsylvania, conducting research in nursing education methodologies.

The Journey to Teaching
From Bedside Nurse to Beloved Professor
For over 20+ years, Dr. Lyleth Bustillo worked at the bedside, caring for patients and honing her clinical expertise. It was during these years that she discovered her true calling: teaching. Students would often seek her out, drawn to her ability to explain complex concepts with clarity and compassion.
Her journey into formal education began in 2019 when she started her career as a nursing professor. Students immediately connected with her teaching style, a blend of real-world experience, evidence-based practice, and genuine care for their success. Word spread quickly, and soon she was mentoring students beyond the classroom, helping them prepare for the NCLEX and their nursing careers.
